We used over 25 colors of glass in our handmade fused glass Hawaiian Quilt jewelry. The two types of colored glass are:
For simplicity, they are referred to on this website as opaque and translucent.
Below are photographs showing all available colors in each glass type.
PLEASE NOTE: Although we made every effort to accurately depict the color of the glass, different computer monitors and settings display colors differently. Additionally, there are occasionally slight variations in color from one sheet of glass to the next (in some cases these variations are more obvious, particularly with translucent red and orange, that do not appear until the glass is fired). Therefore, the color of the glass may appear slightly different in person than on your computer screen.
ALSO, because we have stopped producing new jewelry, we do not have all the colors shown below. This page is simply an illustration of various colors that may be available, some of which may be on sale. For a current list of available inventory and prices, please email .
Click here or on the image above to shop for Opaque Glass Jewelry by color.

From left to right, the colors are:
Red, Orange, Yellow, Light Green, Moss Green, Dark Green, Teal Green, Sea Green, Sky Blue, Deep Aqua, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Pale Blue, Grape, Violet, Pale Purple
Additional note regarding translucent colors: Because light passes through translucent glass, its color can be affected by the lighting and the color behind it, especially the lighter colors. When selecting a glass color for your jewelry, please take into account the color of your skin or clothing (depending on whether you will wear it against your skin or against your clothing). See the photos below for an illustration of the variability of selected translucent colors. Some people like this variability, as it can give them more flexibility in wearing the jewelry with more colors. Others may prefer opaque glass colors, which won't change depending on their garment or skin tone.

These sheets of glass looked identical until fired. It was only after firing that the deeper color of the pieces on the right became apparent. |
