Fern: The early Hawaiians found several varieties of ferns unique to the Hawaiian islands, which they used for temporary shelter, to make dyes, to glue and repair clothing and blankets, and even as a source of food, especially in times of famine.

The piece of glass in each of the jewelry types (from largest to smallest) is:
Large pendant - approximately 1-1/2" square
Medium pendant - approximately 1-1/4" square
Post earrings - approximately 1" square
Dangle earring - approximately 7/8" square

Our pendants and dangle earrings are wrapped in, and the
findings on our dangle earrings are made from, Sterling Silver.
Each pendant comes with a satin black cord - as seen in the pictures - cut to
approximately 34" in length, with ends treated to prevent fraying, so that it can be tied to the desired length.
